NEW: The Justices of the Louisiana Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the Cabildo’s Sala Capitular, the court’s home from 1853 -1910 to commemorate two important dates in the state’s legal history, the bicentennial of Louisiana’s statehood and the establishment of the Louisiana Supreme Court in 1813, as well as Law Day 2012 (press release)

The Louisiana Supreme Court has enacted Part G, Section 13 of this Court’s General Administrative Rules and Louisiana Civil Case Reporting Form for use in reporting on any case that “has been filed in state district court for damages arising from an offense or quasi-offense.” (effective January 1, 2012)
